West Charlotte High School

SCOPE OF WORK
New 100 classroom school to replace current facility built in 1954.

PROGRESS
The trade contractors continue to work throughout the West Charlotte High School facility. The interior finishes have now started in many areas. The roof and windows are all installed and the building is dried in. The ceiling grid is progressing in many areas and lay-in lights are being installed. The plumbing and electrical contractors are setting fixtures. The mechanical contractor started the HVAC system allowing conditioned air to flow. The paint contractor is working throughout and areas have received the accent paint finishes. The site contractor installed curb and gutter and access and parking areas are being paved and also worked on hardscapes around the building including sidewalks and patios. The project team continues to work through supply chain logistics and issues with material availability.
