SCOPE OF WORK

Full magnet high school on old Metro site; relocate program from Hawthorne site.

PROGRESS

The New Second Ward High School project has progressed to the construction document design phase. A project update meeting took place on February 27 at Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences. The new medical high school will consist of classrooms focusing on health curriculum. The demolition of the old Metro School is now complete. Additional geotechnical testing will occur in preparation for the construction of the new school.
