Mint Hill Elementary School

SCOPE OF WORK
New 45-classroom elementary school; relieves crowding at Bain, Lebanon Road, Piney Grove.

PROGRESS
The Mint Hill Elementary School (fka Bain, Lebanon, Piney Grove Relief) construction manager continues on interior finishes. Ceiling grid has been completed in the classroom wing and above ceiling inspections will follow. The VCT has been installed in the classroom wing as well as classroom casework. The site is taking shape as final grades are established and sod installed. Sidewalks have been tied into the existing bus lot and the new entrance road has been tied into the existing entrance. Supply chain issues that impacted the delivery of electrical panels is being mitigated with substitutions and revisions to the construction sequencing. This new 45-classroom school will be located next to the existing Mint Hill Middle School.
